Amidst the COVID-19 Pandemic, PHilMech maximize the use of digital platform by serving the farmers through social media one of this was e-talakayan: Angat Ani Sa Tamang Makinarya.

The e-talakayan was a two-hour online webinar goes live every Wednesday, 9 to 11 am via Facebook Live. It covers topics surrounding the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (RCEF) Mechanization Program, the benefits of the mechanization technologies it offers and how to become recipients of the said program.

With its tagline, “Makinig, matuto at makitalakayan… (Listen, learn and inquire).” Its main objective was to increase or enhance the learning or knowledge of men and women farmers, particularly the members of FCAs, on the benefits and concepts of rice mechanization and the RCEF Mechanization Program.
